From February to the Forefront

The article traces our journey back to February 2025, where Gloom was born out of a shared vision to blend heavy, atmospheric textures with raw, visceral energy. Since those first rehearsals, the band has grown from a local secret into a driving force within the Texas metal scene. The Sound 228 explores the evolution of our sound and the chemistry that has allowed us to scale the underground ranks in such a short period.

Taking the Stage with Holywatr

A major highlight of the feature covers our recent run supporting LA-based metal titans Holywatr. The article recounts the high-octane energy of back-to-back sold-out shows in Dallas and Austin. Playing to packed houses alongside such a staked lineup of powerhouse acts, Slowdegrade and Dye, was a defining moment for the band, and the magazine captures the intensity of those nights through exclusive live photography and behind-the-scenes insights.

The Story of 'Veiled in Velvet'

Finally, the piece offers fans an intimate look at the creation of our latest EP, Veiled in Velvet.
